I am only 17 years old, but have been told by teachers, parents, friends, and performers that I shouldn’t be so oblivious to my talent. I like to sing about events in my life that a lot of people go through. Which is what country music is. It is music that tells a story that some people can relate to. Whether it be work, relationships, family, or falling out of friends; you can tell your story and have it understood. I would love to become a country singer, but I need help. Please help me get started.

i have been singing since i was 4. and i love country music. Brad Paisley is my biggest inspiration. he wows me every time he performs. he has such a passion and fire in his eyes for what he is doing. growing up i would listen to country music all the time. i have gotten so good that it takes me hearin a new country song once and the next time round i know it and i never practiced it. i hear the first 3 notes of a country song on the radio and know the song and the artist at that moment. when i listen to country i feel like its specifically written for me and i go to my own world and all is good. i know just about every country song there is these days. over all i like all the country artists…but Brad Paisley is my number one country singer

Hi, I dont really know what to say, ummm lets see i have been singing every since I can remember I would set on my grandmothers porch swing every morning singing strawberry wine god I love that song!!!!! Everyobe that heres my voice tells me the love it that if they had my voice they would never get off the stage…. But the way I see it is if u have the talent thats great but the gift is what counts im sure everyone that reads this is thinking that makes no sence but it really does if u have that gift I really think I have it…… I mean anyone can go get singing lesons and be able to sing but what counts is the ones that never have had to worry about them in the first place…….. Its my dream to sing always had been and always will be and one day I WILL make it……..Cortney C. Johnson……..

i really love the music in the country genre the singer i like is Kenny Chesney Zac Brown band Jason Aldean Toby Kieth and Rascal Flatts which two of their songs were played at my brothers funeral and i would like to become a country singer!

I love listening to Reba McEntire, how she always rocks every song she sings. All of her songs so meaningful and relate-able, she puts 110% in everything whether is acting or singing.Reba really knows how to sing the message straight into peoples heart, like shes been in that situation before.Shes my idol.
