The Advantages Saving Money With Share Accommodation

Written by

In this day and age it is hard to get ahead financially while renting. Not only do you have bond and rent to pay on your own but you also have to fork out the bond on telephone lines and electricity as well. Added your monthly bills with utilities on top and you will find your moneybox dwindling in savings.

Share accommodation is a great way to get ahead and save money. While this might not be for you there are a lot of things to consider that may help.

Now as far as money is concerned you will save twice as much if not more compared to renting. You will have no bond for the rental property or utitilities to put down with the companies. You will have a deposit to put down on your room and maybe some amenities alike but however you will find that it is minimal cost compared to renting and thats where Share Accommodation In Australia comes in.

Now you also have to remember the freedom side of share accommodation alike. I have a friend who traveled Australia and still saved money with share accommodation. Even though you might think this absurd it is not at all. Having used the share accommodation and giving the courtesy of four weeks notice coming up to each departure gave her excellent references in all states across Australia. Not only did she enjoy it but she also saved and yes she had two dogs as well so share accommodation accommodates for all walks of life.

The good thing about this for saving money is that if you can get on with people it allows you to have a more social existence then if you had your own place and lived by yourself.

If you have a good relation shit with your flatmate and they go out then you have every chance to be Invited, I have some of my best times going out with somebody I met just renting a room.

Another really good way of looking at the plus side of Share Accommodation In Australia is that you can live closer to the city to cut down travelling time for work at a much cheaper rate. This is always a plus socially and if you are single it is better as you can catch up with friends.

My friend stayed in caravan parks that allowed her to have her dogs and no she wasn’t living in a tent or a van. She had her own room with tables and chairs a bed and wardrobe and fridge. Also available was a share kitchen with everything from stoves to ovens to cooking utensils, toasted sandwich maker, crock pots you name it. All this for around $90 per week is excellent. You may be required to put down a bond of four weeks and you can get this back when you leave. Whilst doing this and working she was saving close to $500 per week and had the added luxury of moving on when she felt like it.

As stated you don’t have to give notice in a lot of places but courtesy pays off and you will collect good references. You will no doubt have a few dramas with other tenants occasionally but remember this situation isn’t forever.

Remember you are not sharing forever you are only sharing to build up money at this point in time and as much as you dream of your own place you should also know that you are coming one step closer in achieving that goal.
