You should always make sure you have been prepared with the worst case scenario. When you tell your spouse you know they are cheating, this may chase them off to their secret lover.

You may want to give them a chance to confront their affair to you. Start showing them just how much you love them, schedule dates, buy them flowers and the whole nine yard. After a couple of weeks, if your spouse has not confronted their affair to you and they’re still cheating, then this may mean they do not care about you.
